FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN
The Foundation for Children was begun in 1976 by the CT Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (CT-AAP). As the 501 (c) 3 nonprofit arm of the CT-AAP, The Foundation for Children’s mission is to create and implement programs that educate parents, pediatricians, and the community at large with medical information, outreach and literacy partnerships geared toward children’s health, school readiness and well-being.The President of FFC is Elsa Stone, MD
Under the FFC umbrella, we house Reach Out and Read-CT and grants for our work on projects related to education for our pediatricians and our patients.
